Creating More Magic

Zoey wiggled and wiggled her 1st tooth and it has finally fallen out. It happened in sacrament and she was so excited.
I had fun tonight creating my vision of the tooth fairy! The dentist started the fun for Zoey and she really does believe that she has princess teeth. I made this pillow to go along with that story. I turned this dollar into a heart that is hugging a quarter. The pillow has a strap so that she can put it on her doorknob.*The tooth goes in the mouth...duh.* The tooth fairy also left an note of instructions(you can see her tooth on the top right of the paper).

I love creating that magic so I can see the sparkle in her eyes.

Take me out to the ball game

Darin and Gabrielle HUGE Dodger fans. We gave them slack about the Dodgers but it's not like Brit and I are picky...besides we had no kids, great company and enjoyed the game, what more could you ask for?!

Brit claims this was my anniversary date...even though he never said, "Happy Anniversary"
They took us to Delux, a burger join in Scottsdale. I think it goes for the best fancy burger I have had yet! Thanks guys for the fun date.

Day 2 of riding a bike

She wanted to ride home from Grandma's house while I followed her in the car...We stopped at the park and played in the splash pad and even soaking wet she still wanted to ride home. 2 1/2 hours later which was a total if 2 miles we made it home. Man this kid is amazing.

Once we got home she encouraged her friends (the triplets) that they could ride a two wheel bike too. She has now started an epidemic and all the girls have their training wheels off!

Anyone else need some motivation? Zoey has some words of encouragement that she is willing to offer...

Maggie learns to climb stairs and make a mess

It's a bitter sweet moment! But Zoey was so happy to teach Maggie something new!(sorry it's so dark)
She does this with anything that is in a drawer. Bibs, clothes, books, diapers, fabric from Grammy's closet...anything!(Can you hear Zoey singing B-I-N-G-O in the bathtub? Marci would be so proud!)

Zoey learns to ride a 2 wheel bike

Today was a fabulous day! We taught Zoey how to ride a bike without training wheels. She was super excited and had it mastered within 5 mins. After about 20 mins of practicing out front we ventured further. We went around the block, school and park. She learned how to coast, turn corners, go up and down hills. IT WAS AWESOME. She was so happy, excited and proud of herself. The best part about it was the neighbor kids cheered her on and she practiced. The words of encouragement from friends were priceless, "You can do it Zoey, You're doing awesome, Keep up the good work, GO Zoey, You're doing it!" She got claps, cheers, honks from friendly neighbors. She was on top of the world! I love our neighbors! Thanks everyone for making today better than what I expected! And of course her #1 fan was cheering her on too...Miss Maggie
She can do it!

Tangerines and Oranges

Zoey said her favorite thing to eat is Tangerines because they are her middle name... I said your name is not Zoey Tangerine Miller. She laughed and said the tangerine is Orange. I told her she was not named after the fruit she was named after the color. With tons of sass she said, "I KNOW MOM"!

Zoey is funny

Guest poster day. Brit here with some silliness from Zoey.

We can teach her right and wrong and the word of wisdom but we can't teach her to stop telling adults what's what. I was dropping her off for school the other day at the cross walk. She likes to just jump out and cross, I guess it's easy. Anyway she was walking to the crosswalk from the car and was heading towards the Crossing-Lady's coffee she had sitting on the ground. She said "don't take my coffee" in silliness and Zoey reponds playfully "I'm not gonna drink your coffee silly." As Zoey approaches the Crossing-Lady in the middle of the crosswalk she turns to face the crossing-guard and says "You shouldn't drink Coffee!"

Today we were cuddeling in bed together, Zoey, Donna, and I, after putting Maggie down for a nap. Maggie was still whinning in the baby monitor and in alomst a whisper Zoey says "Mommy?" "Yeah Zoey" Mom says "Are you thinking about Maggie?" "No" and Donna gets into what she was thinking about. Two minutes later in almost a whisper "Mommy?" "Yeah Zoey" "Can I go downstairs to..." She left and we started giggleing it was so cute.

Maggie is not the only cute little girl in this house!

But she is sure cute too.

Brit out.
