I'm Exhausted

I don't think that having two kids is exhausting but then again I'm only 3 weeks into my experience! However, trying to get Zoey back on track to a normal routine and a love and logic disciple structure is DRAINING to say the least! I am ready to pull my hair out...or Zoey's! I'm guessing that she is misbehaving a bit because of the shift in attention. Zoey is hardly eating, annoying me during feedings and refuses to listen 90% of the time. I try to take her to her room but she just drops to the floor and I can't carry her. That is when I loose it! I need to develop my ability to be patient and I'm hoping I can learn it sooner rather than later.

I'm reading the book again to remind myself of everything but any love and logic advise is greatly appreciated! Because I feel like my 4 year old is getting the best of me!

Another problem is I have very little energy to entertain my WELL RESTED 4 year old.

Maggie on the other hand is just a peach. She is eating and sleeping well. Her belly button is falling off and it is stinky. I don't remember it taking so long and being so gross with Zoey but it is totally nasty.

Other than that things are going well with us!

Zoey's cute comments

When pulling into the mall parking lot...
- Are we going to take Maggie with us?
Zoey is still adjusting to Miss Maggie being a part of our family. Even though she LOVES being the big sister.

-Are you done eating Maggie yet?
I don't eat Maggie but Zoey thinks she eats all the time

-Why does she cry so much?

-Maggie likes me but when I push her she doesn't like me...But I'm still keeping her
I don't recall Zoey pushing Maggie except for in the swing, I really have no idea what that means

Were Home!

It has been a long weekend but we have made it home. Our first stop on our way home from the hospital...In-n-out. It was great sitting outside in the fresh air. The weather is perfect for hanging out outside. I feel like I have been grounded for the last 4 days because I was stuck in the hospital(I can't wait to sleep in MY bed). Magggie was super good in her car seat and on the way home she made no fuss what-so-ever. I think this mellow little girl is going to fit in nicely!

Wednesday is our day to get adjusted. However, Thursday is going to be busy... Maggie has a Dr appt, we need to pick up paperwork at the OB, and we are delighted to get Grammy Miller from the airport.

Maggie May Miller

She was a little late but worth the wait!

Maggie arrived at 10:50pm, May 8,2010

Zoey is SUPER excited to be a big sister! When the doctor came in to check on Maggie, Zoey comforted her the whole time. Zoey's favorite part coming to the hospital is checking on Maggie then turning on the cartoons and stealing my food. What girl doesn't like to be spoiled?

Aunt Debbie
Don't anyone get offended....this is the only picture I took with my camera when family was around

Thanks for the love and support! We are all doing well. I should be home wed. or Thurs.

Hey Maggie

Zoey had a cute conversation with Maggie today.

Zoey- Maggie it's time for you to come out now. I have some things I want to teach you. I need to teach you all about princesses and I need to show you the Simpsons because there is a baby just like you and guess what? Her name is Maggie too! I need to teach you princess dancing, ballet and about Jesus and dolls. And how to chew gum and candy. Oh and how to be a ROCKSTAR just like Hannah Montana.
abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxy and z now I know my abc's next time wont you sing with me.

This was all followed up with a 2 kisses and a hug squeeze to my belly.

Someone is really excited to be a big sister!

I also kind of got a Mother's day gift from Zoey today. It was a little pot with chocolate flowers but she said it was for her. So then we convinced her to give me the pot and say Happy Mother's day....if I promised to give the chocolate flowers back. I agreed and we were all happy.
